By downloading or using Hourglass, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not download or use the app.
AnchorPoint Software LLC grants you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable license to use Hourglass on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, or reverse engineer the app.
Hourglass is free to download with a 30-day free trial. Hourglass Pro ($4.99 USD) is available as a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the app permanently. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store, and Apple's purchase terms and refund policy govern all transactions. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds outside of Apple's policies. We use RevenueCat solely to verify purchase entitlements.
Hourglass is a calculation tool. The payoff projections, interest estimates, and timelines it produces are mathematical estimates based solely on the data you enter. They do not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice. Actual loan payoff amounts and timelines may differ due to lender policies, variable interest rates, fees, and other factors. Always consult your lender and, where appropriate, a qualified financial professional.
All debt profiles and scenarios you create in Hourglass are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. AnchorPoint Software LLC has no access to your data and cannot recover it if you delete the app or lose your device.
You agree not to:
HOURGLASS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CALCULATIONS WILL MATCH YOUR ACTUAL LOAN OUTCOMES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANCHORPOINT SOFTWARE LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF HOURGLASS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
IN NO EVENT SHALL ANCHORPOINT SOFTWARE LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Florida.
